I would like to make a bid too but its just too soon after xmas for me.

If he re-listed towards the end of next month then i would certainly be interested!

I watched it last time around and non of his items (about 6 in total) got any bids. Thats got to mean that he started too high. Doesnt look like he has got any bids this time either so i think he would drop the price again.

Being not built is what im looking for!

I suppose the nearest answer I can give is "chalk and cheese", but I feel it would be very silly to even try, it is the 'Mini v Rolls Royce" syndrome. They both do the same job just totally differently. Whether one is better than the other......... "beauty is in the eye of the beholder".
If I was offered either at no cost then the 300B, if cost came into it, the KEL84, which is a brilliant amp for its money

I recon £425 is an excellent starting price for what you'd be getting. Taking into account that it's coming with upgrade components and wire which in themselves are quite dear and what looks like some nos RCA valves, if I was in the market for 300B PSE amps, I'd definitely be after these. Remember that really good sounding EH Goldgrid 300B's can be had for about £140 a quad. If there is no competitive bidding, these really would be a steal.
