Hmmm, Marco is a member here and also recently set up a site advertised on the Useful links section, apparently with Petercom's blessing.

Is that the same forum that Marco started up a few months ago? It seemed to be mostly schoolboy humour and four-letter words.

Hi all,

Clearly we cannot stop spam sent directly in email, supposedly from other hifi boards, or from anywhere else.

If anyone receives spam from any of our members via PM though that is a different matter. Please forward it to the moderators and we'll take action if we feel it breaches forum rules.

With regard to Marco's bb they say they are receiving it too so it could be someone's idea of a joke.

Don't think it is!..... Seems to be quite civilised actually.

Cheers,
Mike.

On inspection, it does seem to be a great deal better than the previous effort. Perhaps we should give him the benefit of the doubt?

it does seem that this drew peacock (who ever he is) and marco are disaffected members of various forums, there does seem to be a competition going on to get new members for their forums, it was suggested that money had been offered to get people to sign up

oh well It's nothing to do with us if they want to fight,

Guys,

I would just like to state categorically that neither myself nor any of the admin at The Art of Sound have anything to do with Graham Peck (Rudolph Hucker's) new site 'Hi-fi Talk'. It is completely his sole venture.

If he has been spamming this site then it most certainly has got nothing to do with me or anyone else from The Art of Sound. I sought the permission of Petercom to post an introduction and link to our site here on 'Useful Links', which he kindly allowed, and I'm sure will confirm if asked.

The Art of Sound is a professionally run serious hi-fi and music forum aimed at enthusiasts, which you will see by looking at our site. We have had a few members from World Designs join. They have been made very welcome and seem to be enjoying the experience, Shian 7 (Mike) and Shane for example. If anyone would like to examine our forum accordingly and join us they are more than welcome to do so.

Regards,
Marco.
