Surely amongst all the members there must be at least one competent IT man who can keep an eye on the forum.

Loads of truly experienced British IT people have lost their jobs over the years to cheap labour from Asia,. Cheap and make loads of mistakes. This post is made on a s/hand system I bought cheaply from a friend who has a couple of decades of experience. Is V bulletin the best software to use, how much is the annual cost? You can set a forum up for less than €60 p.a.

For those who hav'nt tried it, LInux is way better than that awful Windows 10. My PC uses Linux 4. Watching a good IT man setting a system up is something else.

I can't believe how long it took the forum software to load my post. I live in the country but the connection speed is very fast as is my PC, something is very wrong.

My load speed is also very slow Stuart, some times, over 70 seconds. BOB

No problem for me on Safari. All functions normally.

I'm OK on Safari too. Would the "slow" ones mind letting me know if its consistently slow - or just yesterday please?

We run on rather venerable software which I'm sure doesn't help; I was intending to apply myself over the Summer looking at how much it would cost to get more up to date. Not just a matter of purchasing the s/w, but of finding someone who could successfully oversee and transfer the data!
