Early U2 for me as well ! dunno what the 'Live at Red Rocks' Recording is/was like, but it was a corkin' gig!

But I think War is a pretty tough listen on that newfangled CD format when I bought it in 1983(?)

Now that Boy album is pretty damn good, but I came to the U2 party late. I bought that vinyl LP in 1982. It's a bit ragged around the edges. So, I did buy the re-released of Boy on vinyl a couple months back. I do like that.

Yeah, I think you've hit the nail on the head there Mr Texan. If (like me) you liked U2 in their shouty-angst days you'll probably not be too impressed with their boy-band era output.

I think thats why i find the JT LP such a snore inducer.
