Re: Bi-amping WAD
Hi everyone,
Clearly it has been nearly a couple of months since I was on here, and I am pleased to read the messages here, concerning my idea to bi-amp. I have experience before of bi-amping, but with identical amps. The amps were SS things, and drove the B&Ws well. Just to concure with NealG, the brindged-mono option was definitely the best. But I have never tried bi-amping with different amps. The "phase" issue is definitely something to think about and yes, this could have dramatic effects on the overall presentation of the sound. Maybe I should think again! I just fancy a pair of 300Bs in my listening-room!!! Maybe I'll save up and simply have the option of two amps to play with, but not at the same time!!! Thanks for all your comments - made interesting reading. Cheers, Neil.
