Re: KLS3 Gold crossover - MkI and MkII
Hi all WADers. Long time.
Well, I am coming from a long journey meaning I am restoring the filters to original for my KLS3 Golds MkII. The original elecrolytes are replaced by PP and 2.7 mH inductor is replaced by airwound one though. A stupid question: in the scheme for midrange: http://www.hautparleur.fr/_audax/kls3gxd.pdf The wire between R3 and C2 is crossing the wire between L1 and C5. Does it imply that the two wires at the crossing point are electrically connected or isolated? Best regards Dimitri |

Re: KLS3 Gold crossover - MkI and MkII
Hi Dimitri,
Good to hear from you and glad you are still using your KLS3's. Yes, there is an electrical connection between all four wires although they don't need to link all at the same place. That's just how it is drawn. Best wishes, Greg |

Re: KLS3 Gold crossover - MkI and MkII
Thank you very much Greg.
Yes, I still like the speakers very much. Have no plans to replace them. You are very much involved in the decission to build them, a good decision. Thanks again. Dimitri |

Dimitri
I think the polarity in your diagram is incorrect. In the diagram I used the mid unit is wired in phase but the treble and bass are reversed. Brian |
