Re: K5881 Mk1 mods
Hi Baggo.
I entirely understand your point of view on the matter, and to some extent I agree with you. BUT, given the choice, I think that a modern replica would be my choice, and an affordable one at that. The last breed of AC Ace and Aceca with the Ford 5 litre (302 cu in) engine would seem to be worthy of being modern classics ? PS I think of you every time (most days) an Ebay scammer lists a Nimbus motorcycle.

Re: K5881 Mk1 mods
Hi Baggy,
As usual it's everyone to their own, but if pushed, I would have to go for a Facel Vega HK500 either manual or automatic, followed by a Sunbeam Tiger. regarding there latter, a good friend Brian had one which he "slightly" modified with a Holley 4 choke downdraft carb, a Hewland 5 sp straight cut box and a Salisbury limited slip diff. Top speed about 100mph but hell it got there very, very fast. That's enough about me on cars for now. John |

Re: K5881 Mk1 mods
I was going to expand on the classic car theme, but would the "car" bit of this thread be better transferred to the "coffee bar" section ?
