To be honest,i haven't heard much of Bill Bruford,so i can't comment there.
However,i have heard Billy Cobham (with guitarist Tommy Bolin,RIP ),and he is an astonishing drummer! Can i also add tho,in no particular order: Ian Paice (Deep Purple),Neil Peart (Rush),Jon Hiseman (Colosseum).....Oh,and Cozy Powell (Anyone who saw him live,performing a drum solo to The 1812 Overture,will know what i mean ) |
