Simon, you don't say what you are fitting the remote in, it can be run from 6volt AC, or 9volt DC, what is it going in please, then we can advise. BOB

Sorry Bob, it is in a KEL84, I assume the ECF80 heaters are the starting point as these have the 6.3vdc required.

Simon, I think you need to read the instructions again, I am shure that the HiFi Collective RC Board need's 6.3 volts AC, so you must not connect to the ECF80's as the voltage here is DC, you need to pick up the heater voltage from any EL84, connect any way round, it's not important.

Just run a couple of wires from the heater supply to one of the valves to the board. Or maybe I don't understand your question.

I would pick an el34 socket and solder a wire to pin 4 and another to pin 5 and take these two wires to the remote board.
