I bought 2 at the same time, a mfp smokie robinson Lp and Bowie's Pin ups
I had just started work after leaving school at 15.. and was skint after that.

Mine was Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here - nah its a fib - it was Pinky and Perky singing Yellow Submarine with Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines on the B side

Z cars theme from Woolworths, then nothing for a couple of years, then Country Joe and the fish, Electric Music for the mind and body.

Like far out, man

The chap who wrote Z Cars also wrote the BBC4 theme tune, which I hate but is clever; Fritz Spiegel.
