Sorry Greg, I need to post pictures but, for a long time now I cant because of the size and don't have a clue how to address the problem, of the PCB's. they are the PS-1 and hold both regulated HT & LT and two full wave bridge rectifiers, they fit inside the WD PSU case along with the WD transformer, the HT regulators receive 400 volts DC, then after, one puts out 250 volts, the other 200 volts, the later is for the J Broski Akidio CF, this sits inside a WD Pre III case with Alps motorised pot and associated circuitry. I will try and get help to post pictures. Bob

Bob - What exactly is the difficulty posting images? Is it how to scale down the image size?
http://www.world-designs.co.uk/forum...b3_attachments gives general instructions on posting.
The specific limits appear to be, for jpg - max filesize 175kB, height 1024px, width 1024px .

As regards scaling the image down, what photo editing options do you already have on your computer?

Alastair

The really simple way to upload photos is to use a free image hosting website. I use https://imgbb.com/

Just to chip in here:

I obviously buy the Binder (4-pin only, I'm afraid) in bulk - so am happy to sell ones and twos at a slightly lower price than the suppliers you've mentioned.

But they are still expensive compared to ten years ago!

The same principle applies to any parts used in "current" WD models - and quite a few other bits and bobs.

Just email or phone.

Matthew

Very neat work Bob, did you machine the part on the top of the Toroidal Transformer?

Chris.
