Thank you to every one who has offered help,I think this post will be ok.
You can see from the photo the three reg valves,ft to bk, are 85A2,EF91 and CV4079.The CV valve is a very low impedance(375R).The two chokes at the rear are oil filled C-core.Inside are the tx and 6X4 rectifer with filter caps and dc components. |

Hi Guy,I have only ever used my own built psu's.The first was a choke input filter on an open chassis which worked well abeit being prone to hum pick if the two units were next to each other.
So i have now built this regulated psu around a wad box.It is silent. The phono is mk2 with X10 step-ups, "8055" from sowter,Mullard M8137's. The R's & C's are a mix tants and pio.It is fed by a Benz L2.As to how it sounds,well it pushes my buttons. |
