Yes I believe it is rare. I bought it very cheap because there was a lot to repair on the preamp/headphone module.
It had been a bit butchered by previous attempts at repairing it by a so-called pro, who declared it beyond repair.
It sounds excellent, with great stereo imaging, and sweet mids and treble, not unlike my valve equipment.

I didn't reply because I have already had an extensive interchange with Chartz on the vintage wireless forum and there fore have nothing constructive to add.

The reason I posted here too was that I might have been lucky and found someone who had that amp.
