I had a feeling you'd ask that! It depends on the browser. I use a Mac. If you've a PC and use IE, from memory, you go into Internet Preferences and under the "general" heading you should be able to clear the "History".

If this is the wrong info, I'm sure someone will jump in and put you/me right!

Well, I've cleared the history but still no joy . I've not had this problem with other Fora. I wonder if there is someting else I need to reset.

What I did with mine was:
Double left click on the small "eye/no-entry" icon on the bottom of the browser window; this pops up a small window "privacy report".
One of the lines of text should have the words "forum login" as part of a web address for this site.
Right click on this line and a little window pops up, click on the "Always allow cookies for this site" then click on the "close" button.
Close the browser, then re-open it and log in, making sure the "remember me" button is ticked, and you should be sorted.

Edit to add: This is on a pc running xp/ internet explorer 6
Also added : If you dont have the bar at the bottom of the IE window, click on "view" at the top of the window and select "status bar", that should show it.

Good move on the new ISP, however I am experiencing the problem of having to fill in the login name and password every time.

I also have the odd situation of NOT being able to see the images in the gallery.

I've tried clearing out all the cookies/browser cache etc., to no avail.

I'm using XP Pro and IE7.

Anyone got any ideas ?

Chris

When I had my problem, one of the cookie dialog messages said something like " cannot find privacy report for this site", so I assume that IE blocks cookies in that case, unless you manually tell it to allow them. I dont have IE7, but found this that may help. http://www.accountingweb.co.uk/help/faq2.html#ie7

I suggest you go to the 'BB Problem' threads below. I had the same issues but following Peter's instruction, all came good.

Tick the Remember Me box when logging in

Everything should then work. If it doesn't Delete Cookies from Internet Tools and try again.
