I've got one final question about this amp - is it class A or a push- pull design? Having 2 pairs of EL34's, I'm guessing it's a class A/B amp. I love the sound whatever it's topology. Thanks.

If you buy the archive CD Rom from WD, you’ll find the original articles that explain the design of your amp. There is a further article covering component upgrades and of course, the full archive contains numerous articles on WAD and WD kits and other DIY projects. It’s a very good read!

It contains loads of articles on valves and valve amps in general including the different types and how best to use them. Loads of speaker kits too.
