thats very kind but would like to have it in the metal case work you have.
I have a tried a couple of caps on the output, but keep coming back to the russian jobies - they cost pence! They seem to work well with kiwame resistors which can be a touch 'rose tinted' .
The biggest improvement I found was replacing the elec' caps just before the anode resistors with foil and films.Was taken aback by that.
Are you using tube rec' in the psu? I prefer the sonics with a 6x4 instead of the s/s jobies.
