Richard, Gerry et al

I too use the GE Jan 5751 and concur with all the positive comments above. Can't say I recall any noticeable loss of gain, but it's a while since I fitted them. Might get chance to order those Oscons soon.

Hi Richard and Gerry,

Thanks. Time to order up some 5751's.

Gerry, thanks for the sentiment which I reciprocate. All is good here. New job, no mortgage, new life and a bit more money to spend

Regards,

Greg

Lucky B'.....custard!

I missed that thread about the Oscon by pass caps, so thank for that. Looks as if I'll be doing that sooner rather than later.

Gerry

I think RS do these in packs of 5. All being well I may be able to get to my local RS counter to collect on Friday. I only need 2 for this mod so I'll send you 2 if I can get them.

OK?

Maggie frames may be being made this week!

All the best

Adrian

Yes please. How are things? Be interested in photos of the Maggie frames when you get them. Are you using hardwood? I'll give you a ring.

Gerry

order just sent and hardwood (mahogany) frames nearly ready (before piano black finish). Got the wood very cheap from Wood Green Timber for c.£30 and am having routed and cut for free after doing a builder a favour!

Be good to talk very soon.

It pays to shop around, I picked this little lot up for £22 inc. delivery from the USA last year when I did my phono3 clone!
