Help! KAT 6550 schematics and instructions needed - Page 2 - World-Designs-Forum

Are we not getting the amps mixed up a bit here Greg refers to the KiT6550 in his post it’s the KAT6550? Were after as I made the same mistake
Just checking we have the correct amp

I've sent KiT 6550 instructions to Shane, believing I already have his email address. If I got this wrong, Shane, please come back to me and I'll rectify.

I am waiting on Luca to supply me his email.

Colin, you are right, KiT and KaT 6550 are different but that difference is minimal. KaT is single input so you ignore all the intergrated inputs and thereafter, it's just R7/8 changing from KiT 1M to KaT 100K to the best of my knowledge. It would be good if someone else could confirm this.

I've not heard from Luca. If Bob or Colin supply me with his email address, I'll forward on the full KiT 6550 instructions together with an explanation on the difference between KiT and KaT 6550. Alternatively, I'll happily send the instructions to either of you for re-trans to Luca. Email or PM me if that suits you.

Thank you very much for your Kind help.

You have all been very kind to me. I received Kit schematics and instructions. Now I hope I wil receive the Kat ones, too (just because it will be easier for me!).

Thank you for the mods you sent to me, too, and for the suggestions.
I will let you know if I'm able to find the problem.

It's nice knowing there's someone who is willing to lend you an hand on WAD if you need it.
