Hi Rich,
Definitely the relay thanks. I'm waiting for a new one from WAD and it'll be a few days before I can fit it as I'm away.

I'll be interested to see if you come across similar earthing issues to me. I have double checked all the wiring and it's as it should be. The only thing I can see is possibly the earth from the pc is touching the chassis as the stand offs supplied mean the pc is at an angle because of the screw sockets for the case.

Is yours the same there?

Yes, 4 stand-offs in a line along the centre, bolting to 1/2 holes/slots in the base. Not good.

I re-drilled the board and case based around putting a 3mm drill through the little hole H12 for the centre one, then 2 new ones 15mm from the originals at the ends.

That gives 3 decent mounting points and holds the board from tilting.

I was not as technical as Rich, but also modded by using only one of the centre pillars and filing out the slots to allow the board to fit flat and by the side of the case fixings.
