Same question - without administration from WAD how long can this forum survive. Is it a simple case of "when the money runs out"

Dont know the current funding situation, but, I do know that if phones and etc are being ignored, then a lot of good business opportunities will take their cash somewhere else....

I wish WD all the best in resolving this administrative Fox paw, and hope they will hurry up about it to boot.........................

I wish to buy some bits, but, ATM in absense of fact, I wish to remain above the speculative hordes and wait until it's sorted out.....

And finally Esther......

Would it be too much to ask that the people who are running WD and etc, at least post some info on how long the mess will take to sort out. Please post so that we can end the speculation regarding the status of WD, as it is poor form to "("Bite the hand that feeds us")" speculate without knowledge or facts.....

I'm hoping that things work out for W.D. and this forum has a long term future.
Anyone wanting an alternative source of expertise, inspiration and camaraderie might like to try audio-talk.

http://www.audio-talk.co.uk

It's largely W.D. forum members that are there already.

Has anyone considered sending Peter a PM about their concerns about WD as he may not know anything about it although I would find this hard to believe given his comments in his post prior to going onto take up the post of Director of Acoustic Design for Mission
|Personally I believe that peter should respond to us if he values his loyal customs

IMHO Peter is far too busily engaged with other things. WD is small beer.

to quote 'its suppose to be a business he is dedicated about after all'

It is indeed supposed to be a business he is etc etc. And he is...in China. If he was worried about WD slowly dribbling away he would have done something about it.

Why don't you just email him and see what response you get???

If no contact can be made with WD from prospective purchasers, someone could try contacting HFW as they won't want to be printing ads from a company that's not trading. I expect there's a "special relationship" between HFW and WD so HFW may know something.

Loosing a key supplier plays havoc with any business, it's no excuse though.

I would be most surprised if Peter was not fully aware of the situation at World Designs.

The business was (maybe still is) carried on in a building at the rear of his house.

I do agree though, it would be nice to know what is happening. Other companies like Hi Fi Collective have been reaping the rewards of my business recently !
