Who is the spam coming from?
The gallery is in place, but does not work, I'm not sure how it should, anyone know? Thanks Dave |

Re: World Designs finds new owner
Th UpHopCic user is shown in the PM as having 'guest' status. Perhaps guest logon is enabled by accident?

Re: World Designs finds new owner
OK, got that thanks! It appears that the default settings of Vbulletin allow unregistered users to post PM's! I have changed that.
The Gallery I'm not sure about, it still exists with all the images in it, it's safe but not showing. I need to get some professional help on this, so it may be a day or so. The website has been moved to www.world-designs.co.uk but is littered with errors which over the next few weeks I need to get my head around. Thanks Dave |

Re: World Designs finds new owner
Hi Dave
I remember that the original Gallery was produced by some sort of 'subversion' of the vBulletin software and was not a standard facility. It will probably, as you say, take a professional to make it work again. |

At last, an update!
At last, an update!
We are waiting for the ftp permission to be changed so that we can restore the Gallery part of this forum. When that has been done we will consider the deal done and dusted. Right now we have started on 10 of each PSU3 and Phono3 and also ordered the moving coil transformers. If this trial is successful then we are full steam ahead! All suppliers have been very good to us and I see no future problems with any of the valve equipment at all. In fact I see the 300B monoblocks coming sooner than anticipated! We have a big stock of capacitors and they and the new units will be restored on the web site in a few weeks. There is a problem with SEAS and it is unlikely that we will be the new UK distributor. I'm open to any suggestions! Regards Dave |
