Re: Which multi meter to buy?
Well then the dubious resistor is not 100R.

Re: Which multi meter to buy?
Hmm...
Through this exercise I see that what I thought was a 130R, is actually a 1K. Which is fine, as I need a 1k for the psu kit. What I do have is a 100k, and should have a 130R. So I am really starting to get somewhere in identifying all of the resistors. I will fit all of them, except the 130R, and will get a replacement next time I'm out. Thank you everyone. |

Re: Which multi meter to buy?
Hi Colin,
I have tried to include an attachment, with a photograph, but cannot see whether it has worked or not... it is the psu3v3 |

Re: Which multi meter to buy?
Am I right in assuming that a 5 banded resistor is generally a (much) higher value than a 4? If that is the case, I have managed to find the odd-one-out.

Re: Which multi meter to buy?
Checking over the resistors (again), I see that size and numbr of coloured bands has no bearing on its value. Just when I thought there may be a certain logic involved...
