Ah, right, so a bit of hand-finishing work is required....wire wool, emery and polish etc? I wonder how best to get a matt finish? To match the front.

sad to say there isn't a way to replicate the anodising on the edges short of having the anodising done again, they will dull down with time,
I feel like a prophet of doom
