On Goldfrapp - i prefer black cherry then felt mountain, both before supernature.
Didnt think much of them on Jools, they had those bloodly silly dancers on , they have them on the last tour. a waste of stage space!!

Goldfrapp,
Black Cherry on Vinyl awsome!
yet to get supernature on vinyl but have it on sacd.
if you want to get a vinyl copys buy it from Mute records (thier record label) direct on the web its a steal at somthing like £6.99 +p&p
take youre pick both are great as said before supernature is a more polished work.
felt mountain I do like it but it is so removed from the later work more like late night easy listening stuff.

I really can't understand the value of this type of thread. What you're listening to.......big deal.

It will only be of value if there is something special about what you're listening to, such as emphasising the quality of a particular recording or giving an example of a recording that seriously shows off your system. Other than that, to me it's worthless unless of course there is a discussion/influence element that might introduce members to new music and if that's the case, we still fall back to what is good to listen to which in turn will probably relate to the recording quality etc.

Sorry, don't understand.

Best wishes,

Greg

Easy really. We all like music, don't we? So maybe if I like something enough to say so here, the next time you come across it, you might just give it a closer listen and find something you didn't know about before.
Does anyone have a problem with that?

Well. FWIW, I have to say this thread doesn't do much for me BUT, I suspect that the thead about lenco's doesn't do much for the person with only CD's, or the thread about how Dave is getting on with his amp may not be of interest to someone who just likes to use his kit to listen to music. etc.

Sorry if this sounds a tad bitchy, but you can always choose not to read a thread you don't like...

Tolerance or other views and interests, thats what hopefully will make this BB as nice as place as the last one (or the one before that).
