Re: Dallas II
Hi Peter,
Apologies for being a pain....so is these 'black bits', are they the Ron's recommended changes for 206 - 208 upgrade? Seems simple enough, if that's all I need to add. thanks, -- Andrew |

Yes, I was thinking biscuits might also be a good way to go. But I can't visualize how you go about cutting them on the flats of the panels using a router, the bit would be 90 deg out, in wrong plane. The edges I fine with....

Re: Dallas II
I've been looking at tweaters, seems the Fountek ribbon ones have a good following. I found a CD3? Is that the follow-on, or the big brother, to the one you used Pete?
thanks again, -- Andrew Last edited by Andrew; 8th September 2007 at 05:45 PM. |

Re: Dallas II
Well I hung out on the Full Range Driver Forum a bit and the designer of Dallas posted that he will be doing a 8" design for the Austin speaker range. Apparently, the Austin is a more advanced design, so it may well be worth waiting and see. I shall keepo an eye on proceedings and see what happens.
thanks to all those who responded, -- Andrew |
