so you get a proper slow warm up, i like that, just need to look into the voltage drop.

I've attached a circuit of my 845 power supply with the 6D22s rectifiers.

For HT in excess of the rated 600v the heater voltage can be raised.

My HT (950 V) is connected to the heater supply at one pin on the valve.

Morgan Jones mentions hybrid on page 297 (3rd edition).

Yes, or the way WAD did it for the original 300bpp. The valve will dictate the max first cap value though, so I suppose this might be easier to use with the existing bridge and caps,
