What does the Kel84 sound like??

This is the place where I downloaded the circuit. I'm talking about R5 and as you can see it should be 100K not 47K as I had.

I have 2 Stereo 20s and was very supprised to find out only recently that there is 2 versions. Basically early and late, with different output transformers and some component changes.you need to look for the number on the bottom of the op. transformer and check out the kiewa valley audio site.

In the circuit diagram section there is both diagrams reproduced. One of mine is gold but with the later design.

Thanks for that, its cleared everything up for me now as I have a amp with the 8778 transformers.

Some other components are also different which I didn't spot as well.
