Stylus cleaning.

FYI, the most recent recommendation I have had from Wyndham Hodgson at Expert Stylus for stylus cleaning is to use alcohol-free lens cleaning fluid: spray a little on to a cotton bud and dab the stylus gently with it. I have been using this for a couple of years now and its cheap, it works and seems to have no harmful effects.

Another cheap tip for record cleaning now that the Pixall roller is no more: first clean the record with a carbon fibre brush (e.g. Exstatic). The line of dust this leaves on the record can then be removed using Wilko Low Tack Masking Tape, which is safe, effective and costs only £1.95 a roll.
