Sorry Moderators and Administration if I have stirred up a hornets nest here, but something is very odd about this thread and I doubt the poster will answer my last question. Bob

Simple really Bob, the outlet from where the unit was sourced allows demo of their kit. I took advantage of this with an option to purchase, but it sold in the meantime...

I'm sorry Bob, but if you think that removing eight screws to reveal its inners constitutes me owning this amp, your wrong. Indeed, my original posts here were simply on the amp and its operation and their subsequent removal and photography of its inners (and removal of two cable ties which have been replaced) was undertaken as a result of the kind souls here who offering their time and help...

I've also just taken a look elsewhere on the forum to see if I've missed something about having to contribute to post and I would sincerely suggest that to tar every non contributor as an ar*ehole is not really a good way to foster input and membership... just saying

Having said that, I'm grateful for the excellent input from the majority here

Hi Bob,

The amp was listed on eBay by Emporium Hifi, I’ve met Nick and he is a decent chap and often loans out gear to potential buyers to try at home, in their systems.
I also know that one forum member local to me was interested in this amp and emailed me for an opinion on it, it is possible that he was the eventual buyer, it was his email that gave me the eBay link to the amp.

Hope that clarifies things a bit.

Nigel

Hi Bob... as you can clearly see from listing kindly pointed out by Nigel/Vinylspinneer, the seller is EmporiumHiFi in Bungay and the amp was loaned out by the inimitable (other adjectives are available) Nick Beasley

It all makes sense now-----Who you are in Hi Fi (you must fill this in)
I look after the London franchise of EmporiumHiFi... I work with Nick and not for Nick... but I'm an enthusiast first and foremost...--- Sorted. Bob

Spot on Bob... and in this instance, the amp we're discussing was going to be added to my second system, but after emailing World Designs in Lewisham with a front/rear photo, he suggested that I post here... the rest, as they say, is history...
