No problem, it's nice to know that I'm not the only person still using and enjoying these kits.
Less than 1/4 inch of snow on the hill where I live in Exeter and unbelievably, it's now impossible to drive up it! Time to leave the 5-20s on overnight to keep the place warm...

SS pre on front end
At last got around to trying the Naim 32.5 pre with snaps psu on the front end.
Quite a significant improvement in subtle detail - sadly the naim 12 wont be returning, warm sound but less transparent. I know its not ideal but its definitely very very nice. The bariks are pleasing me more and more but are of course VERY inefficient even if they are 4ohm models so they arent quite load enough. Its not so easy giving up this Linn Naim conditioning and then there's the biznis of replacing one low waf factor box in pursuit of another low waf factor box -- probably. Ho hum
