Squeezer 1.5.1 App on Android 8

The latest Squeezer android app 2.1.0 finally has it nailed as a controller on phone and tablet and includes selectable tile size, selectable play functions and easy search of Radio with saving of stations to Favourites. The new volume control is lovely to use. Streaming info is given whilst playing, and browsing with the phone whilst using the app and streaming music is no problem

Now I've got a tablet (albeit fairly old) I'll see if that app is able to download.

Although, according to Greg, the Touch is so **** it's hardly worth bothering.

My Android skills must be abominable, as I thought I'd downloaded the App, but it says no players are connected, and the touch is switched on.

Perhaps I'm just too old for Android, although I'm quite good on a windows PC.

Hi Philip, Is your SBT and tablet on the same home network?

Yes.

I'm investigating if there is a windows app for this as the tablet is not something i normally use, and my phone is not smart.it still has a shute for inserting small pieces of coal.

I've got a PC in my "office" with my audio files and LMS server. It's hard wired to the BT hub, as is the touch. My laptop (and the tablet) are wireless to the hub.

The app should automatically scan for your server. When it opens tap the 3 dots top right and then tap disconnect or connect from the pull down.

Thanks Richard, tried that but it still can't find my Touch.

To be honest I don't think Android is for me, but I will give it one more try on the old Chromebook I've just aquired.

Right, I'm just not getting it with Android, even failed on the Chromebook, but for different reasons.
