Hi Ali
Have you got some yourself ?
Don't tell anyone, but I have arranged a loan of the Black
I found the Blue was definitely better than my Bud Purvine Litz/cotton specials in the lower mids and bass - quite noticeably so . In the treble it fell short . If the Black is up a level everywhere, then it might be pretty fantastic .

Serves me right for forgetting about speaker wires for the last 5 years or more ; however I will need to fork out a few quid if I want to keep these !

This forum slows my machine down like wading through treacle, but Colin posts extensively here as 'Brain_dead' ( or Drain-Dead ? ) :

Classy - very nice.
I wasn't sure if these are new or used ( will get an answer on that hopefully ) but I think they are running-in .
Deep soundstage , lots of detail but also tone . Probably more tone in the mids than the litz wire. A 'precision' sound which does back up the claims about keeping the phase of the different frequencies together . Pianos are FAB . Currently, in the high treble I'm not sure if they are a touch behind the litz or actually revealing more . Time will tell . Little bells and tinkly sounds come over very crisply & stand out of the mix more than before .

May post more later.

Yes, I have a pair of Blue and a pair of Black. I use both to run my OB's actively. The Black is the best speaker cable I've tried by some margin. I have a set of the Black I/C too, which is also very good. Not cheap, but keep an eye out, I got all mine secondhand.

BTW, if they are new, they take quite a while to run in.

That's great news Ali . I think they are new, I'm getting improvements all the time . Playing Leo Kottke '6 and 12-string Guitar' right now and it's glorious . All the tone ( & more ) I'm used to with the litz, but more precision and dynamics across the range .
