some years ago now, I commisioned a hydralic press at a BAE plant, that was gearing up to produce the UK parts of EFA. I remember seeing some of the videos of the prototypes, I think the term they used was "negative stability". A bit of a understatement.

At the same place, I remember walking out of the hanger where we were working, to see a harrier hanging in the air at the end of the car park, even though it was just a test pilot playing around, it was still an impressive, and frankly terrifying sight. The game was (and I saw it a couple of times) to fly down the car park, and then go full up, at the end before you got the the hanger at the end of the park. That got a bit noisy.

My current listens:

Coil - The ape of naples. My first introduction to them but have been unable to get it out of the cd player.

Kelpe - Sea inside body. Amazing piece of aural artistry.

Venetian Snares - Meathole. Probably not to everyones tastes, but I think he is a Genius.

Hi-call those oldies ?

a friend of mine has done a disc for me Top10 hits 1953-2004 !

The quality is ok playing on my computer through TDK S80's.

Didn't realise how much i liked "real" music, now trying to get an Eve Boswell CD on e-bay.

Hi Philip

Nikki's record collection contains old jazz and blues going back to the 1930's so i dont think she was being entirely accurate. We might have to get a 78 rpm player if she keep's this up
