Well here is the completed article. Sounding superb I might add. Is it me or could the 8 coats of paint make them sound different (better!)

Hi Puffin,

Did you forget to attach the link? I do that sort of thing, regularly....

I would love to see them completed, thinking about the FE208 Sigma myself and its good to hear your very positive experience.

cheers,

Bingo. Mind you the camera makes them look less than perfect, when in the flesh they look much better (honest !)

I attach an other view. The Subwoofer is of course now redundant !

This speaker was designed for exactly the sort of conditions you find yourself facing and in a room that small
you will most probably get away without a subwoofer; indeed a sub would probably cause more problems than it
solved in such a small space.
If you are worried about the ampony pf bass, then for about the same layout and a bit bigger (still smaller than the 208 horns) a set of bipole FE127 Metronomes might suit (i've been listening to Fonkens all week which has given me an appreciayion of the 127 (adain) -- i'm loathe ro tear them down and ship them off to the client)

edit: now that i've finished reading the thread it seems th e above is superfulous... good to hear they are singing...
