I'd like a copy of the original circuit, if someone could manage it.
My copy has bits crossed out and alterations all over the place.

Already on my web space, someone else had been asking for some time and that was the most convenient way to do it.

Just go to http://livinginthepast-audioweb.co.uk/millennium/ and choose from the list.

The Newton is 3 pdf's but the Millennium stuff is as a separate jpg per page. Kindly done by Dave E btw

Curiously the page No.s are contiguous, even though it was two separate parts! Unless it was from a project book, not sure

Cheers everyone for adding the information.I have now came across the magazines in my room in mint condition so all i could really do was upload top and bottom videos of the amplifier....

Some credits in the video are wrong sorry about that, but all that helped with the scans and modifications thanks!!!

P.S I didn`t steal this out the maplin workshop! lol

Ah, thats better.... some diagrams. Thanks.

I'd forgotten how many bits i had discarded.
I'll be much easier to hardwire with the slimmed down version.

I got the magazines for the project still in good conditon. May be able to scan the PCB board ones in particular if any good to you guys?

With the pcbs I think the boards will need to be sprayed pretty well to stop electricity arching. worth noting for anyone making their own boards?

If i had an etch tank I`d rattle a few off ,but would this annoy maplin on copyright? As its their design etc. But changing a few tracks might get round that issue and knowing maplin they would allow us to make a few up because they are into getting as many folks involved in electronics as possible.

Maplin were obsessed about this, I remember, the high voltages, what we did was opt for 5mm gap for the HV areas, should be good enough. Plus had solder resist on as well. A bit of PCB lacquer will do in lieu of. Though I've never bothered, still perfectly alright.

Oo-er! Thanks for that...

Note special case and much nicer layout inside, yeah nice. Plus PSU up one end. All original kit parts I presume.

Sounds ok to me, I allowed 6mm between all conductors on my 'semi-hardwired' boards (in 1mm dia. wire). The wires don't contact the boards much apart from where they pass through holes in the matrix (PLAIN boards may I add), and I reasoned that if 25kV on my motorcycle spark tester won't track much further than 7mm through air then I should be ok. Famous last words-fizz-pop-bang!
