Playing video tapes of Glastonbury 2007 (4x4 hour tapes) through hifi, I'll watch it a bit at a time. BBC2 coverage was better than in years gone by, I thought all the big/best bands would have been on the freeview.

Hi Shane,

Best wishes,

Greg

Brand new hot-off-the-press CD release from Cake, one of my fave bands.

Cake-'B sides and rarities' (Scratch n sniff cover . Really )

They've done the occasional cover too over the years in addition to their own brand of precise, cutting social commentary. Some folk I play their stuff to can't get around his voice, I think it works so well IMHO.

The Sabs music have never sounded so fonky... http://www.cakemusic.com/songs/rarities/01War_Pigs.mp3

Try this site you're tempted by any of their other offerings http://www.cakemusic.com

Cake surely gave us the best version of "I will survive".

Listening to Jean Michel Jarre's new album Teo and Tea.
He must have seen the crazy frog and liked it
It is a bit ring tone tastic. Somewhat Soulless stuff.
It sounds more like generic mainstream euro dance music (with very subtle hints of JMJ influence) than an actual JMJ album.

I almost feel ashamed to say I enjoy it in parts!

Bring back those 70's analogue synths JMJ.

Tonite has been a real mixed bag - started off with Joe Loss' Big Band playing Glen Miller - absolutely fantastic stuff - very evocative of my upbringing and Radio 2/British Forces radio.

Went onto Supertramp's "Breakfast in America" - chock-a-block with great songs.

Currently got Al Di Meola's first solo abum on, titled "Elegant Gypsy", and what can I say about it but absof***kin'lutely brilliant music and playing.

Who knows where it's going next ?

Chris
