Vangelis

Rapsodies.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/release/zq9x/

This album is a recent rerelease for Vangelis originally produced in '82 and released in '86.

Incidently Vangelis is pronounced Vang (as in Fang) ell (as in hell)- iss (as in Hiss).

AC/DC, the whole lot, from first to last, back to back whilst I wade my way through a really boring project at work. I'm up to 'Have a Drink on Me' from the Back in Black album. It's fun to play em in context and see how the style changes over the years, though at this point it's also a bit sad as it's the first post Bonne Scott album.

Hi-looks like i need to know about Pink Floyd now !

Looking through my collection i find i have 13 (thirteen) PF albums, and as i do not know the chronological order am starting with "Delicate sound of thunder".

Perhaps i might even get to like it ?

Hi Philip,

That's the third from last album being live(I think)! Followed by 'The Division Bell' (studio) and then 'Pulse' which was their live recording of the most recent tour around '94. During this time they also published a limited edition recording of 'The Wall' to celebrate the demise of the Berlin Wall. Go on their website for the chronology.

Best wishes,

Greg

Hi all

Chicken Shack Blue Horizon sessions. I remember some of the original gigs. Stan Webb - whoever suggested you could sing -but the band was tight!

I've got Fleetwood Mac Live 1980 Tusk tour playing,
what is it about them I like, maybe I'm in love with Christine McVie,

David Counter
David - please get in line!

I loved her when she was Christine Perfect and struggling to make her place in Chicken Shack permanent! Even after her relationship with a bass player I still think she has a wonderful voice (pitch, tone, phraseology).

I do believe his name has been officially entered into the Cockney Rhyming Slang dictionary now.... I will leave you to come to your own conclusions as to what it is rhyming slang for... Quite apt IMO though!!
