WAD PSU II info
Bit of a random query on the old PSU II
Does anyone know what the original umbilical connector plugs and sockets are? I've got a couple of EM84s with driver boards that I'd like to use. I'm assuming the Magic Eye tubes draw fairly nominal current on the HT, and the heaters are 210mA, so wondered about daisy-chaining the HT/Heater supply to another box with 2 Magic eye tubes for a bit of nice visual display. I've been fascinated by EM84s since I was a nipper, seeing one in the elongated STOP button of my dad's old Philips Reel tape deck. |

Re: WAD PSU II info
and there were 2 types of clifcon used.
Depending on age or by design i purchased psu2 and phono 2 first When i purchased the Preii about 2 years later the clifcon sockets were different colour so i now have an automatic safety mechanism as there is help to avoid accientally pluging them in the wrong way red receptical red male part of plug Phono II both ends of cable black receptical black male part of plug PreII both ends of cable dunno if this is by design or i am unique due to time between purchases or..... i made a mistake Dave Last edited by Dave999; 20th April 2022 at 03:25 PM.
