KLS3 question
Hello all
Can any KLS3 builders please let me know how the Audax HM130CO was implemented? I presume it was enclosed in a seperate volume within the main enclosure. Was this sealed or vented? What was the volume? What were the port length and diameter if vented? Any stuffing or damping material at all within the mid enclosure? Many thanks Max |

Re: KLS3 question
I have the articles on my website for the KLS3 MKI Gold here:
My Web I have the article for the original design but I haven't scanned those yet. Brian Last edited by Brian; 12th April 2007 at 05:52 PM. Reason: Change ref' to MK II to MK I |

Re: KLS3 question
I think in the Gold Mk I design the LF-MF is 100Hz, in the MK II design the LF-MF is 400Hz. The MF-HF I believe is just above 5Khz although it is slightly tweaked in the Gold MK II versus the MK I.
The ports come in at 40Hz. I can scan the other articles if anyone is interested and put all 3 versions on my site. I'm thinking of changing the HD3P for a standard treble unit, just as an experiment so I need to dig the articles out anyway. |
