RS has to be the most convenient and source of probably the widest range of components to meet the needs of our hobby, particularly if you live in the UK although they have outlets all around the world. It is easy to set up a credit card account with them over the telephone. It might be helpful if you have a company name to facilitate free postage, and this principle is not researched too carefully by them if you know what I mean Telephone orders made before 8pm will usually be delivered the next day. Excellent service and easier than visiting one of their trade counters if you are lucky enough to have one nearby. Highly recommended.

Best wishes,

Greg

Absolutely, very good, no problems, but a tad expensive for some stuff.

Would be nice if they could supply stuff in smaller amounts as well. Dont always want to buy the full 100m of cable.

Had a letter from RS today. From 1st Nov they're introducing a £3.50 charge for orders made by phone fax or letter if before vat value is under £20. Online and trade counter orders are not affected.

Best wishes,

Greg

I wish they'd sell more bits that we folk would be more interested in instead of going the same way as Maplin. I suppose they need to stay commercial.

That company in Leeds (er... I mean Farnell) . I wish they had a better website.

Indeed I wish England had a Michael Percy.
