Default Forum interconnect review.

I've been puzzling over some homemade interconnects for a while.
Not really sure what to make of them, except that in my system they affect the sound a lot more than any other leads i've tried recently.
Since there seems to be a shortage of people within my family and friends, who are interested enough to have a listen and pass sensible comment.
I wondered if forum members would like to take up the challenge and pass them round for a while.
I know that such an exercise won't really prove anything and there is the small matter of post and packing each time someone has to to pass them on.
But still it might be interesting.
Perhaps keep them for a few days and then post your impressions on here.
The cables are heavy duty silver multistrand coax which have been in my garage for some time and are not at all expensive.(about two feet in length)
Any takers?

I'm game. I need some system tweaking right now, although I suspect silver might take me inthe wrong direction.

I'd be interested. I've stuck with Nordost for the las 3 years, so it would be interesting to try something new.

Hi Al-i would also like to "test" your cables.

do you have any "spare" lengths of this or is their only your demo leads.

Can Petercom comment on his replacement for IC2 when it might be avaliable ?

I would be pleased to be in on this test. I'm already using silver interconnects - so will have a benchmark against which to judge.

Paul

Ok, so i'll send them to Adrian and he can pass em on to Gerry who is next on the list.
If Adrian sends me a PM with his address we can get moving.
Remember, I haven't said these cables are good or bad, but they struck me as being different. We should get a balanced set of opinions if enough people take part.
Down to you now Adrian.
I only have enough of this cable to make another short interconnect. I was rather hoping someone might recognise it, but then again, if the consensus is that it's garbage then we won't want any more.

Thanks Alnewall

I'm at:

Adrian Budd, 45 Indigo Mews, Carysfort Rd, London N16 9AE.

I suggest, to keep it as objective as possible, that none of us comment in public till the last one of us has heard them.

Gerry, I'll send them along with the Yellos (ordering tomorrow) after I've had them a few days.

Adrian

Leads arrived today (thanks Alnewall - -I'll PM my observations later) and are now pretty conclusively tested (at least on CD, but not yet on phono). Gerry, let me have your address & I'll send on tomorrow.
