Heybrook hb3 (series 2 P type)
Hi
My luck i now with Heybrook hb3 series 2 p type. But what is this on the front, there is a hole. it is seald. Can any tell me what this is ? best jan |

Yes, I can. The version of the HB3 that you have was designed to be sold as two types, passive (the P-type that you have) and active. The idea was that the plate on the back of the P version which holds the cross-over would be replaced by a chassis holding the three power amps and active crossover which, being quite big and heavy, would be supported by a bolt through the hole in the front panel. Sadly, the active version never got beyond the bright idea stage. The hole should have a plastic bung inserted from behind and a black paper sticker on the front to hide it (up to a point...).
