Default how much music do you own?

what do you listen to regularly

and how much do you have?

I have 239 GB yes on my HDD and still growing!!

No idea, a few hundred CDs and a few hundred more LPs... yes I have a trawl through every so often, found myself playing Jim Croce the other evening and Joni Mitchell last night...

In our house it depends who you ask.

My answer is 'It is never enough'. Another view seems to be 'How could you need more'? and the third view is 'What's wrong with iTunes'? The cat votes with her feet.

As for the quantity versus quality debate I think I've only ever chucked out 2 recordings and sold on a couple. That's not to say I like everything I've got and had a few dissapointments over the years but like Richard I keep revisiting things in the hope of a change of heart - and it does happen both ways. Trawling the collection for a recording that you previously thought was pants after equipment changes can be enlightening. Mind you that can also work the other way.
