Default Tips (might be useful)

Or not, anyway.

Turntable with a felt mat, use double sided tape.

Ebay list with paypal, do postage and finish auction early Sunday evening.

Regards

Stuart

When considering changing lasers on cd players, carefully dust the lens first and you might not need to change it.

Is this correct? I was told never to over tighten the twist. Wires should be loosely twisted in order to facilitate maximum phase cancelling.

I would have thought maximum cancellation would be from a parallel pair, but the problem is keeping the distance equal, and thats what I assumed tight rwisting gave. Loose twisting allows the distance between the conductors to vary, so I would expect there would be varying cancellation.

Hi, for what it's worth - I used to work as a production engineer for a company that manufactured very expensive oscilloscopes and whenever a twisted pair was required, it was made in exactly the way Colin describes. So he is quite correct, IMHO
