Hi John,

Yes, Safari seems to have a problem at the moment. Firefox and Camino (Mozilla) are OK.

John.

After reading Paul's post, had a check and found that emptying the cache cured the problem!

Hi all,
Stranger and stranger, thanks for comments results as follows,
Emptying cache on Safari has cured the picture problem etc and I can reply to posts.
However on Firefox emptying cache has had no apparent effect and I am unable to reply to any posts as there are no "reply" boxes in the threads.

Running OS 10.4.5.

Any thoughts, straw clutching etc

Hi John,

I'm running 10.4.5 too. I'm sure you have, but in your User Control Panel your "Forum Skin" is set at "Bulletin"

'Fraid that's as far as my knowledge will go!!

John.

PS. As a last resort, it's always worth verifying disc permissions!

Hi all,
This gets weirder and weirder. I have recently cloned my 40GB HDD to a 250GB HDD using Mike Bombich's Carbon Copy Cloner software, and as far as I can see everything is copied and OK. However this is being written from the 250GB HDD where everthing come up fine but in the old disc ONLY the W-D board is corrupt! Hmmmmmmm.

John

Hi all,
Well I fixed it.
I found that in Firefox>Preferences>Content>Load Images>Exceptions, that W-D site had been blocked somehow. Deleted site and all is OK. The mind boggles!
Thanks to all for the assistance anyway
