Default Jason Mraz... Mmm...

OK so I've just discovered Mr Mraz after reading a few choice comments about his music making abilities. Yeah I know, trawling Amazon is very sad but then so is Facebook and so are forums...!!! This guy is going to be incredibly popular. In fact, in the same coffee bar way that Jack Johnson is popular, Jason Mraz is going to be huge. The music is gentle and uneventful with the exception of one or two choice tunes but the recording quality is exemplary. Yes, it's a bit compressed in that very Y2K kind of way giving a good strong, positive bass with a good strong, positive slam and punch and the vocals will make an absolute climax with a valve amplifier but the music is very... ordinary...! Not bland or anything as strong in description but rather... ordinary. I am very pleased I bought this latest offering but I shan't be buying any more. I don't think... maybe.

I like the music of Jason Mraz. It is definitely true that he is a bit like Jack Johnson but that is not a bad thing. I love the album "We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things" and of course I loved the single "I'm Yours". Would appreciate visiting once a concert because I am of the opinion that it must be cool to hear the songs live.
