Forum management
We have recently moved the Forums for World Designs Amplifiers, Loudspeakers and Others to the main World Designs category. This is purely to make them more 'visible' to those who are visiting.
On another matter we will have to change the Gallery shortly. This is because the Gallery option is a 'hack' into the vBulletin code and is not supported by the latest issue of vBulletin. We will be updating the Forum to the new version of vBulletin this coming weekend, the 15th July. If possible we will run a new system of posting your photos which is supported by vBulletin, but that depends on our trials in the meantime. |

Re: Forum management
Hi Peter,
Whilst you are re-jigging the forum would it be possible to add another "room" for Newbies to make them feel more like posting. We seem to have twice as many non active members as active.

Re: Forum management
Hi-it would seem a good idea to have an introduction thread where "newbies" can introduce themselves and their system.

Re: Forum management
Sounds good, I was on the verge a couple of times of suggesting a "show and tell" thread where we could get an idea of what we all looked like, photos of our system and probably our dogs and cats as well. Dogs and cats are great, they don't suggest you should be mowing the lawn when your listening to music.........

Re: Forum management
Good ideas all of them. We'll introduce a 'newbies' forum this weekend when we do the update.

Re: Forum management
Sorry, what is a 'past thread'?
Probably the easiest way to post a link to a thread is to view the thread in your browser, select and copy the text in the address bar, and paste it into your post. It always helps to put posts on a separate line. BTW the Update will have to wait until this weekend (22nd July) as other things have intervened. |
