Default spell checker

for months I've been frustrated by the spell checker when I reply to a thread,I couldn't find how to use it,

yipee I have now, you right click the mouse on the word and there it is

hi David,
haven't you downloaded the checker that's free on the reply to post window.
It's puts itself in your browser and when clicked reads your post and suggests changes.

Hi-my Mozilla Firefox spell checker works on posts for the forrum,but in the American way !

I'm using firefox so maybe that's why I haven't got the link to a spell checker on the reply to post page, I must be using the mozilla one

hi David ,
go to the advanced reply window and just above the smilies theres a tick with abc.
click on it and it should dowload to your computer.
It will then be at the top of your browser as a tick with abc.

If you're using firefox with the builtin spell checker, next time you download a new version, get the GB version instead of the US one. Then the spell checker will work properly.
