WAD KEL80 Output Transformer Replacement

Hoping for some advice here. I have a pair of WAD Kel 80 monoblocks and one of the output transformers has gone. The guys at world -designs can't seem to source a replacement so not sure what to use. Would something similar such as this work?

Would I have to replace both transformers or modify the amps at all? Anyone else found a solution to this problem?

Can't afford to buy a replacement of equivalent quality and really don't want to discard what are a good pair of amps.

Are there any numbers on the TX (underneath)? Hopefully we can identify who wound it and ask them to make a new one. It's been done before...

You could get them rewound

I have finally managed to get the transformer number off the guy who is supposed to be repairing the amp.

The type number id D8456 is typed on the bottom of the transformer . The dimensions of the core are 11.0 , 8.9, 6.5 cms.

If this provide any guidance then any advice would appreciated.

That one was almost certainly done by who are are now known as Grandchain. This quote from the transformer thread linked to at the top of this thread;

I contacted Grand Chain and they can supply a replacement transformer so thanks for your help!
