Default Wad KLS3 mk1 /mk2

Looking for a bit of advice on the KLS3's if anyone can help

I had always fancied a pair of these floorstanders to try out with my 300b-pse's
and have now found a set locally for £150
Anyway ......what I need to know is what were the differences between the mk1 and mk2's , was it just the Gold tweeter or were there other significant upgrades in the later model .
Also how do the Mk1's sound , anyone have any experiance of them ?

Think I will buy them anyway as it seems a very reasonable price and it will let me mess around with my first Kit built speakers

Plans would be to veneer the cabinets / upgrade the crossovers and possably have them external / Also the mk3 tweeter mod sounds interesting

Will post up some pics when I pick them up

Any Info,help, advice appreciated

Thanks

Stuart
